Tucked away in the beautiful Franschhoek Valley, In Harmonie is more than a place — it’s a sacred space where hearts are renewed, faith is deepened, and weary souls find rest in God’s presence. Since 2015, we’ve been a place of change — a space for rest, restoration, and reconciliation for Christian servant-hearted leaders seeking time away from the noise, quieting every distraction in order to reconnect with God. Here, surrounded by nature and His peace, guests rediscover harmony — with themselves, with one another, and with the One who restores all things
The In Harmonie team is a group of Christ-followers who serve with intention, humility, and faith. We create sacred spaces for rest, restoration, and reconciliation, specifically for Christian servant-leaders and ministries across Africa and beyond. Our desire and prayer is that every leader who joins us will encounter God personally, find renewed strength in His presence, and leave restored, refreshed, and equipped to continue their calling with joy.

We believe that true rest, restoration, and reconciliation come from encountering God through His Word, prayer, and reflection.
Christ is the foundation of all we are and do. We seek to reflect His character, obey His teachings, and live in constant communion with Him as Lord, Saviour, and Friend. (Colossians 1:17–18; John 15:5)
We root our beliefs, decisions, and practices in the truth of Scripture, allowing God’s Word to shape our worldview and daily living. (Psalm 119:105; 2 Timothy 3:16)
Prayer is not only speaking to God but listening to Him. We cultivate stillness to hear His voice and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. (1 Samuel 3:10; John 10:27; Psalm 46:10)
We embrace servant – hearted leadership, following the example of Christ, who came not to be served, but to serve. We lay aside ego and status to lift others up. (Mark 10:45; Philippians 2:3–8)
We open our hearts and spaces to others, practicing radical welcome as Christ welcomed us. Hospitality is both a posture and a practice. (Romans 15:7; Hebrews 13:2)
We celebrate the unique image of God in every person, welcoming cultural, racial, generational, and denominational diversity as a reflection of God’s kingdom. (Revelation 7:9; Galatians 3:28)
