The business of life often robs us of quiet moments of peaceful reflection on the Lord. There are two riverside areas with seating that provide “secret places” of solitude and an opportunity to “drink” from Jesus Christ, Who is the Source Of Living Water.
The riverside areas at in Harmonie are places of peace and quiet communion with God. Life’s noise often drowns out His gentle whispers—but beside these waters, His voice becomes clear once again. Two distinct areas offer what many guests describe as “secret places” of solitude and restoration.
The first river spot, shaded and serene, lies at the entrance to the Agnus Dei Prayer Garden. It’s surrounded by trees that sway like worshippers, their leaves dancing in praise. Here, one is reminded of the promise in Psalm 1: that those who delight in the Lord are like trees planted by streams of water, bearing fruit in their season. It’s the perfect place to sit, breathe, and realign your heart with His Word.
The second riverside area greets guests near the entrance to in Harmonie. This one is open and light-filled, framed by a beautiful garden that feels almost like a preview of heaven’s peace. As you sit here, the words of Psalm 23 come alive: “He offers a resting place for me in His luxurious love.” This is where souls exhale, burdens lift, and the Shepherd’s care becomes a tangible reality.
(The righteous) is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.

Yahweh is my best friend and my shepherd. I always have more than enough. He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love. His tracks take me to an oasis of peace near the quiet brook of bliss. That’s where he restores and revives my life. He opens before me the right path and leads me along in his footsteps of righteousness so that I can bring honor to his name.
