Agenes Dei

The Agnus Dei Prayer Garden is based upon the Lord’s Prayer. It has been prayerfully and thoughtfully planned and laid out.

Agnus Dei: Lamb of God.

Agnus Dei, meaning “Lamb of God,” is a tranquil prayer garden inspired by the words of the Lord’s Prayer. Every path and plant has been prayerfully considered, creating seven distinct stations that encourage deep reflection and personal communion with God.

As you wander through the garden, the design draws you naturally into a rhythm of prayer—starting with reverence and worship, moving through surrender and forgiveness, and ending with peace and gratitude. Surrounded by creation, you are reminded that God’s handiwork speaks of His glory and care. The fragrance of flowers, the rustle of leaves, and the warmth of sunlight all become part of the conversation between you and the Creator.

Agnus Dei is not only a garden to visit; it’s a garden to experience. It’s where prayer feels alive—where every word seems to rise with the wind and return with comfort. Guests often find themselves lingering longer than planned, feeling the deep stillness of God’s presence and the gentle reminder that He listens to every prayer uttered among the trees.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.”

My time at in Harmonie was an absolute feast in the presence of our Father. The time of silence and solitude brought deep rest to my soul.
